Year 3 – Writing – Stone Age Boy

Year 3 children enjoyed an experience day based on Stone Boy by Satoshi Kitamura as part of their Write Stuff scheme of work. Children got the chance to look at some special Stone Age items whilst they also learnt about both the Mesolithic and Neolithic periods. We looked at the shift of hunter-gatherers living in temporary shelters, such as caves, to fixed settlements and a focus on farming.
