Year 3 have worked hard in writing this week as we have started to focus on the text Stone Age Boy as part of our Write Stuff scheme of work. Children have focused on teaching sequences that slide between experience days and sentence stacking lessons, whilst improving both vocabulary and grammar. We have covered expanded noun phrases, adverbials, direct speech, repetition, and expression and feeling.
Key aspects of The Write Stuff system include:
