Year 3 enjoyed a Now>Press>Play experience based around the life of a Stone Age child. Each child has their own headset and experiences the adventure independently. The narration of the story guides the character and children respond to commands from the narrator of the story i.e., “There’s a woolly mammoth charging towards you! Take your bow and arrow and track the beast as it approaches … ready, keep it steady. Fire!” This interactive experience helps children really get into the action and can help with creating drama in writing as well as promoting an ambitious vocabulary.
