Year 3 children have worked brilliantly in mathematics this week and have shown plenty of resilience in learning some pretty tricky strategies. Children have looked at mental strategies for both addition and subtraction and have used both column addition and column subtraction to work out the answers to maths questions. Children have applied this knowledge to pictorial challenges using base 10 and part whole models.
