Year 3 – Art and Design – Prehistoric paintings

In art and design, children have been learning how prehistoric people made art, and how best to reflect this style in their work. Children used a variety of mediums that including sketching pencils, charcoal, and oil pastels. Children learned how to use shapes in their sketches to create detailed drawings i.e., circles, rectangles, and triangles for the shape of a bird.
