Year 1 – The Feast of St Therese

On Tuesday, Year 1 celebrated the feast day of St Therese. Children learned that St Therese thought of herself as ‘A little flower of Jesus’ because she was loving God in her own way. St Therese lived her life doing small acts of kindness everyday and when they came together, she was seen as a very special, caring person. Year 1 then designed a rose to celebrate the life of St Therese and joined the whole school in a mass for the feast of St Therese.
