Year 1 – PE – Invasion Games

In PE this half term, Year 1 have been practising the skills needed when playing invasion games. Children have learned attacking skills such as how to do a chest pass and a bounce pass as well as trying to dodge defenders. Pupils then developed their defending skills by looking at how to mark players and defend a space.

Children then had the chance to play a range of mini team games to practise and improve the skills they learned. Great work Year 1👏🏼
