Year 1 – Independent Writing

Year 1 have been reading the story ‘Little Red Riding Hood’ in their English lessons. Pupils got into the role of Little Red and walked through the forest to Grandma’s house. Children talked about what they could see, hear, smell and touch on their journey through the forest.

During Early Morning Work, children have been completing independent writing about Little Red Riding Hood. Year 1 have been trying very hard to incorporate adjectives into their sentences to make them more interesting. Great work Year 1👏🏼⭐️
