Year 1 have started a new history topic comparing Victorian England with 1950s America. Children have already looked at the lives of Emmeline Pankhurst and Rosa Parks who lived during these times and have discussed the similarities and differences in their lives.
Children then looked at sources from Victorian England, including posters, postcards and old toys. Children discussed what they thought about the sources with their learning partner and then wrote down questions that they would like to find out about the sources. Excellent work Year 1⭐️👏🏼
