Year 1 – Computing

In computing lessons, Year 1 have learned how to use their own Purple Mash username and password to login independently. Pupils learnt that it is important to keep their passwords safe so that no one else can log in to their account.

Once the children were confident at logging in they began to access their 2Do’s. They have completed a range of activities linked to their history topic of toys in the past. Children first created a 2Paint picture of a teddy bear and used the text tool to label it. They then created a poster of old and modern toys.

In their final computing lesson this week, the children conducted a survey about Year 1’s favourite colours. Pupils then accessed the tools icon on Purple Mash to create a pictogram about this.
