At the end of our Anglo Saxon story writing unit, Y5 planned their own ending to the story of Beowulf. The children have been working very hard to plan the last five paragraphs of the story using writing techniques they have covered in our Write Stuff lessons over the half term. They used some very impressive vocabulary, similes, metaphors and personification to engage the reader. After writing their stories, the children used iPads to edit their work before reading their completed story to the class.
