Year 5 have been learning about forces in science this half term. They have used their new knowledge about gravity, air resistance, water resistance, friction, levers and pulleys to carry out investigations. The children have chosen enquiry questions to investigate, planned their own tests, carried them out and analysed the results to draw their own conclusions. They have learned lots of new facts and vocabulary and had lots of opportunities to apply scientific skills.
