Y5 English: Beowulf

In Year 5, students put forth an impressive effort in rewriting the Anglo-Saxon tale of Beowulf, showcasing their creativity and skill with sophisticated writing techniques, impressive vocabulary choices and mature sentence structures. Alongside their English lessons, they embraced their artistic talents by crafting stunning front covers using watercolors and bold illustrations. The pupils thoroughly enjoyed the unit, culminating in beautifully produced story booklets that are proudly displayed in the classroom.
