Y5 Art: Take One Picture

In our recent art project, Year 5 students collaborated to create a stunning installation inspired by the elements of Pieter de Hooch’s “The Courtyard of a House in Delft.” Drawing from the details of the painting, the pupils transformed natural materials into textures and shapes, reflecting their unique interpretations of the artwork. This immersive experience not only deepened their appreciation for art but also fostered teamwork and creativity as they explored the intersection of nature and artistic expression. The final installation serves as a beautiful reminder of how inspiration can blossom from both classic art and the natural world around us.
