Reception’s busy week

Reception have enjoyed a busy week of activities. During their ‘COOL’ time (choose our own learning)  in the classroom. They have been learning about the meaning behind the Advent Wreath and they had a go out cutting and sticking to make their own.

The children enjoyed problem solving with lolly sticks and pegs to create their own structures.

Some children enjoyed a maths activity linked to our focus book Little Red Riding Hood. They had to match the baskets with numbers on to the correct representation of the number in dots.

Some children enjoyed creating their own patterns of 4 using paint and corks. The children were able to say which numbers are hidden within 4.
