Reception have been investigating the number seven. They have working on composing and de-composing the number finding out about the part, part, whole relations. The children found all the numbers that can hide behind seven such as 5 and 2. They had fun finding out about the parts that make 7 by making fruit kebabs. They had to choose 7 pieces of fruit on put them onto the kebab sticks. After they finished they got to eat the fruit.
