This week the children have been practising their subitising skills using their perceptual subitising to recognise instantly the number of sounds the could hear. They enjoyed playing together in the music area banging on the instruments whilst their friend recorded how many.
The children have used Numberblocks 1, 2 and 3 to create their own maths pictures. Some children added the Numberblocks whilst others chose to make a number picture, e.g. number 2.
The children have investigated Numberblock 4 and the many ways he can be made.
