We had a fantastic time in class learning about the Apollo 11 mission. We ordered the events of the journey to the moon and back with a partner. We could identify the launch of Saturn 5 rocket which was used to launch the Apollo 11 mission. We imagined what it would be like to have been in the Eagle as it touched down on the surface of the moon, and the excitement of rejoining the Columbia before returning to Earth.
