Exploring habitats in Jesmond Dene

Year two had a wonderful, winter walk in Heaton Park and Jesmond Dene. We examined different habitats within the park and identified creatures which would live in them. We were lucky enough to see some interesting animals such as robins, nuthatches and squirrels. This trip will also provide us with a brilliant subject for our independent recounts in literacy.
